Howard Ketcham (1902-2007) was hired by Lustron to create the Lustron color palate. Ketchum was described in promotional materials as “one of the nation’s foremost color experts.”
Ketcham, a color engineer had worked for major corporations including DuPont streamlining automobile lacquer colors, for Pan Am Airways decorating the interiors of clippers.
